The Cumberland Lady Pirates pushed across a run in the top of the 7th inning to break a 3-3 tie and went on to nip the Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians 4-3 at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville Monday. The Lady Indians were led by Addy Brush, Alyssa Griggs and Abby Taylor each with 2 hits while Griggs had 2 RBI. Paige Hill took the pitching loss as she went 7 innings and allowed 4 runs on 4 hits with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks. The loss drops the Lady Indians to 7-10 on the season. They will head to Indiana to meet North Knox Tuesday at 5 ET.
