Sam Stimler of the Red Hill Salukis won two events to lead the Red Hill Boys Track and Field Salukis to a fourth place tie at the 2024 Cork Invitational meet Friday at Robinson. Stimler and his teammate Clayton Roney were 1-2 in the 100 meters and Stimler also captured the 200 meters. The Salukis also were first in the 4×100 meter relay anchored by Stimler.  The Salukis tied Paris each with 67 points. The Lawrenceville Indians were also in the field for the meet and finished 10th in the 11 team field with 12 points. The Tribe were led by Brayden Morrison who finished 3rd in the 800 meters and 4th in the 1600 meters and Tanner Waller with a 5th place finish in the long jump. Host Robinson won the meet with 141 points with Shelbyville second at 122 and Altamont third with 115.5. Both the Indians and Salukis are in the field for the Mt Carmel boys and girls invitational meet Monday.
